The SME Digital Empowerment Initiative 2026 (“Initiative”) is organized and administered by Adeona Technologies (Private) Limited (“Adeona”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
The purpose of this Initiative is to support selected Sri Lankan Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in exploring and implementing technology-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, business performance, and digital transformation.
By submitting an application, applicants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
The Initiative is open to legally operating businesses registered and conducting business within Sri Lanka.
Applicants must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during the application process.
Adeona reserves the right to verify any information submitted and may reject applications containing inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information.
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
Applications will be evaluated based on factors including but not limited to:
Adeona reserves the right to determine the evaluation criteria and selection process at its sole discretion. All decisions made by Adeona regarding the selection of participants shall be final.
Adeona intends to select up to three (3) businesses under the Initiative. However, Adeona reserves the right to select fewer participants, more participants, or no participants if suitable candidates are not identified.

The exact scope of support shall be determined by Adeona based on project feasibility, available resources, business requirements, and Initiative objectives.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, the Initiative does not include:
Any services outside the agreed scope may be subject to separate commercial arrangements.
Selected businesses agree to actively participate across all phases:
Failure to actively participate may result in suspension, delay, or cancellation of the project.
The nature, features, functionality, timeline, and deliverables of any solution developed under this Initiative shall be determined solely by Adeona. Adeona reserves the right to modify, reduce, postpone, or discontinue any project if circumstances require. No applicant shall be entitled to demand specific features, functionality, timelines, or deliverables beyond those mutually agreed during project planning.
Adeona Technologies retains the core intellectual property rights of the underlying software framework, architecture, and code developed during this initiative. The selected SME will receive a perpetual, royalty-free, non-transferable license to use the developed software solution exclusively for their internal business operations.
Adeona will treat business information submitted by applicants as confidential and will use such information solely for the purposes of evaluating applications and administering the Initiative. Applicants acknowledge that they should not submit highly confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information unless specifically requested by Adeona.
Publicity:By entering this initiative, selected SMEs agree to allow Adeona Technologies to feature their business name, logo, and general “Before vs. After” digitization success story in upcoming corporate updates, case studies, and social media content for educational and promotional purposes. No sensitive financial or personal data will be disclosed.
Limitation of Liability: The Initiative is provided on a best-effort basis. Adeona shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or business losses arising from participation in the Initiative, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, business opportunities, or data.
Adeona reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel the Initiative, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice. Adeona shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such modification, suspension, postponement, or cancellation.
Information submitted through the application process will be handled in accordance with Adeona Technologies' Privacy Policy. By submitting an application, applicants consent to the collection, processing, and use of information for the purposes of administering the Initiative and communicating with applicants.
By submitting an application to the SME Digital Empowerment Initiative 2026, the applicant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
